PORTER CHEDDAR BEEF SLIDERS

I N S T RU C T I O N S

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  2. Divide the ground beef into 12 portions, each about 2 ounces. Shape each portion into a 1/2-inch-thick patty, making a slight indentation in the center with your thumb to help the patties maintain their shape during cooking. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Brush the grill grates or grill pan with oil. Grill the patties, turning once, until nicely browned but still slightly pink inside, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Top each patty with a slice of McCall’s Porter Irish Cheddar and grill until the cheese is melted, about 1 minute.

  4. Arrange the sweet rolls cut-side up on a cutting board or large serving platter. Spread ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard on the bottom half of each roll. Add a piece of lettuce and a burger patty. Place a pickle on each patty and cover with the top half of the roll.
