KENTUCKY HOT BROWN

Preheat oven to 400°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 3 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk, raise heat to medium, and stir until thickened.
Stir in McCall’s Sage Irish Cheddar until melted. Add Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Keep warm.
Arrange toast on the baking sheet. Layer 2 slices of turkey, 1 slice of ham, and 2 tomato slices on each piece.
Spoon cheese sauce over the sandwiches and top with 2 slices of bacon in an "X" shape.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the sauce is bubbly. Garnish with fried onions, parsley, or extra tomato if desired. Serve immediately.

2 cups shredded McCall’s Sage Irish Cheddar
4 tbsp butter
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk, warmed or at room temperature
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
4 slices toasted sourdough bread
8 slices cooked turkey breast, patted dry
4 slices baked ham, patted dry
8 slices ripe tomato, patted dry to remove excess moisture
8 slices crispy cooked bacon
